Many bags look alike please check your tag to ensure you have the right bag. Sound familiar? Many of us out there have bags that look very much like hundreds of other people's bags. This is not a really great thing. First off having a bag that looks like all the others makes it difficult to find yours as they spin around the carousel. Second, if your bag is lost and the ID tag has come off, your bag probably isn't going to be found. You should mark your bag. Get some paint markers and write your name on it a couple of times, draw fluffy bunnies, skulls, or little ramp workers being swished with your heavy bag. Some will tie a ribbon or some decorative id tag to the handle for easy spotting but these can get caught in belts and carousels. Mark the bag itself and you will be much better off. Also, put a few business cards inside your luggage, if you don't have any write your contact info and a sheet of paper and put it inside. If your bag gets lost and the tag has come off this will give your bag a much better chance of being returned to you. Mark your bag. Travel Safe, Travel Smart . . . Get Somewhere! |
