Many people try to cope with long flights by using their personal electronics. This is not a bad idea but you should think on how to use them. Laptops can be used to do work or play games however, these will both drain a battery quickly. I suggest that you watch movies, a couple of your favorites and maybe a good season of a favorite show. If you play them from your disk drive, your battery won't last very long. It's a better idea to burn the movies to your hard drive and play them from there or buy them through I-Tunes. Speaking of I-Tunes some of their MP3 players can play movies and games as well as music. Having a portable electronic like this is easy to carry around from flight to flight but be careful, they are equally easy to lose. Make sure that when you employ these electronics you use noise cancelling headphones. They block out ambient noise that can fatigue you and let you better enjoy what you are listening to. Bring a power splitter. Outlets can be hard to find and are in high demand at airports. If you are going to be carrying multiple items that need charging, a power splitter would be a sound investment. Charge your laptop, cell phone, and other electronics with just one outlet. Extra batteries for you devices when available is also a good idea for very long flights. Get the most out of your devices the next time you fly and enjoy your flight even more.
