This is a simple tip that can save you a lot of headaches that are associated with trying to retrieve a lost item. Sometimes, as you may already know, lost items may never be found. Utilize this tip and save yourself money on having to replace your personal possesions. Never put your belongings in a seat back. It's very likely you will forget it, and more likely than not, if you do it is going to be gone. Often your flight has several more trips to make before being done for the day so it is likely that those CDs are now in the possession of another passenger. Even if it was the last stop for the flight and it is found and then turned into lost and found, you may have difficulty trying to find anyone who can look for it. Plus a trip to the airport just to see. More than likely your nice new I-Pod is now someone else's new toy. Besides being a good way to lose your belongings, seat backs can be extremely filthy. Filled with gum, used tissues, someone's half eaten tuna on rye, or an assortment of other gross things. If you put your book in there you may just not want it back. If you insist on using the seat backs to store your things just be sure to check it before you stand up and get ready to deplane. Also check around your area for items that may have fallen out of your pockets during the flight. It could be you just lost a little change, or your whole wallet. Those few seconds of inspection could save you a lot of trouble and time later. Travel Safe, Travel Smart . . . Get Somewhere! |
