When traveling it is always sound planning to arrive early for check in at the airport. Simply trying to show up on time doesn't leave room for long lines at the ticket counter or at TSA checkpoints. If you have a ticketing problem the extra time will be invaluable. Most airlines have online check in available this can also help to streamline your travel plans. With airline travel if you are on time, you are late. Did you know that your departure time is not the cut off time for checking in? Most airlines close the gate for a flight at least 10 minutes prior to departures for on time flights and will not check you in at 30 minutes or less prior to flight time. If you are checking bags cut off times may be even earlier than that. Check with your airline to find out these when these cut off times are for you. Travel Safe, Travel Smart . . . Get Somewhere! |
